I had a play day on April 6th  - 9 women in my art studio - fun for sure.  Here are some of the projects offered:

I first created the yellow/green/pink paper wreath and then decided to make my kits with the blue paper and Easter Parade sheet music with the flower & leaves and sign that reads "Springtime" in the center.

Hello Friends

I can't seem to ever find time to blog anymore - is anyone else having that problem?  Monday a week ago I had a huge play day at my house with 9 artsy girls in attendance.  The first ladies arrrived early in the morn for coffee and conversation and then some of them stayed for a pizza supper and more art until around 10pm.  I love my play days!  We created several projects, but my camera has gone wonky so I haven't taken pics or taken the time to scan them yet.  Here is a card I recently made for a friend's bithday:

A Bit of Art

Here is a bit of Easter art - a make & take I found in the local scrapbook store yesterday.  I loved it so much I had to take time out to make one.  I have never been a fan of crepe paper but have been drawn to it because of all the "silver bella" type art.  It was so easy to work with - I applied a generous amount of glue stick to the outer edges of a piece of cardboard and laid the crepe paper down and actually slide it sideways through the glue to "pleat" it - easy peasy!!
